    Alamina Beach House was built originally in 1975 by Norman Alamina, a boat builder and lifelong resident of Caye Caulker. It is one of a few original clapboard island homes that remain on Caye Caulker's beachfront, having survived Hurricane Mitch and Hurricane Keith.
