Annual community fair in the Maya village of San Joaquin in Corozal District. The Festival of San Joaquin is held in the same village every year and is held to honor the paron saint San Joaquin.  San Joaquin is a quaint little village on the Northern Highway 10 or so miles outside of Corozal.  The village is named after the Catholic Saint San Joaquin, who is the saint people prayed to for good crops or other things of that nature.  The festival features food, dance, rides, gambling, and family entertainment.
